Mr. Rodriguez has over 20 years of experience in auditing and in accounting and tax inspection. Part of this experience was gained in the auditing firm KPMG, where Mr. Rodriguez prepared tax returns, performed tax audits, and providing tax planning advice for large companies such as Bancolombia, Suramericana, Cementos Nare, Isa, Sufinanciamiento. Mr. Rodriguez currently serves as auditor of Remington University, Carnes Casablanca, and Fajate S.A.S, and a tax advisor to several companies.
Mr. Rodriguez advises on compliance and the roll-out of international financial standards (IFRS). Companies with which Mr. Rodriguez has worked include Celsa S.A., Creatum Accesorios S.A., Carnes Casablanca, CINDE, La Cocina de Luis S.A.S, Portal Raíz S.A.S., Ladrillera San Miguel S.A.S, Ladrillera Los Cerros S.A.S., COMFACOR, and Dann Carlton hotels.
In addition, Mr. Rodriguez has worked as a university professor at undergraduate and postgraduate level for over 25 years. He has taught at institutions including the University of Antioquia, the Autonoma LatinoAmericana University, the Pontificia Bolivariana University, Remington University, The Cooperative University of Colombia, Jaime Isaza Cadavid Polytechnic University, and the Technology University of Bolivar.
